The objective was to create a promo video for a marketing agency that provides a variety of services to their customers.

The client provided a detailed explanation of their vision for this video. It needed to be fast-paced, colorful, and eye-catching. They also provided a few references of the style they wanted. 

The video would be showcased on social media, so it needed lively background music and no voiceover.

The client gave me full creative freedom for the design. After looking at the references, seeking out the client's style guide, and considering the main objective of the video, I came up with a series of style frames for the future video.

1-2. We help you grow and elevate your business. Pink 3D bubbles inflate and float upwards showcasing the "grow" and "elevate" parts of the statement.

3. We do. Add a slight computer glitch to the words to show the digital nature of the company. 

4. Digital marketing. Circles expand to show a growing audience.

5. Branding. The circles rush back and "stain" the background nudging the viewer to think about paint.

6. Content creations. An array of squares with constantly changing colors that represent the large number of different ways to advertise a product.

7. Social media management. The squares drop down into a phone and are scrolled away to show a social media interface.

8. Creative Jellybean. The name of the company and a 3D pink jellybean float around. 

The pink bubbles were created using Particular in Adobe After Effects.

The pink jellybean was created using Cinema 4D. The most interesting part for me was texturing the jellybean. I wanted it to be transparent but opaque at the same time, with colorful specs inside. It needed to look edible, like a real candy jellybean.

After tons of different texture options, I decided to work with this one: 

From here, I set up the configurations of the texture to maximize the colorful specs without it looking to busy.

The animation of the jellybean would be a simple up-and-down motion with a slight swaying rotation (floating in air).
